Perfectly Sheepish

I work with many different types of fiber and I was delighted to find a fine wool sheep that has a wide range of colors much like alpacas.  Shetland wool varies greatly from ultra-fine, next to the skin handknits, to coarser outer garments and woven rugs.  The possibilities are endless.  Shetlands are small and easy to manage.  Perfect for a new shepherd with small acreage.  And they are the cutest things ever!  It is not unusual for them to follow their shepherdess around just like a puppy dog  in anticipation of a brisket rub.
